We are a young family that made the decision to buy a school bus in 2017 in hopes of following our dreams to travel the world and live debt-free. It all started when we moved into a large four-bedroom house. After riding a rollercoaster of emotional stress and financial struggle for several months, we began to realize that what we wanted in life was not a giant house full of things we don’t need. Although this time was incredibly difficult for us, it led us through a journey of soul-searching that we needed to experience in order to discover the path we truly wanted for ourselves and our children.

Originally we were going to build a tiny house on wheels until we accidentally stumbled across the concept of a skoolie. What could be better than being able to drive a home that you built for your family anywhere with ease? So we set out to buy our new home, a school bus, and thus began our journey. Our school bus is a 40′ 1996 Amtran International and is the perfect size for a blank canvas. Follow us as we learn, love, and grow as a family. Our hope is to have the financial freedom to spend most of our time traveling and enjoying life, free from the status quo, and giving our children the experience of a lifetime that many people never get. And more importantly to share it with and inspire those who want to live a happy, joyous, and free life as well!
